Jennifer’s passion for developing and implementing innovative workplace health programs made her thinking about starting up CoFender. She will combine her analytical and problem solving skills with her creativity to develop and implement outstanding workplace health programs in and beyond the Netherlands.
Obtained a MSc degree in Social Psychology (Cum Laude) in 2007 at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
Obtained a MSc degree in Business Administration in 2008 at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
PhD project at VU Medical Centre within the department of Public and Occupational Health on the (cost-) effectiveness of a worksite health promotion program (defense date 28th of October 2014)
Attended the Postgraduate Epidemiology Program at the VU University Medical Centre (registered as Epidemiologist).
Consultant for councils and the Mayor and Municipal Executive in all municipalities of the region Holland Rijnland (2008)
Project associate at VU medical center for project weight loss, balance at work (2009)
Project coordinator Delta Lloyd for developing and implementing a lifestyle program (2010-2013).
PhD project at VU medical center (2009-2014)
Working visit CEDAR institute (Centre for Diet and Activity Research) in Cambridge, United Kingdom
Working visit Department of Clinical Psychology, in Valencia, Spain.
Jennifer writed a number of scientific articles for journals in Occupational Medicine.
Jennifer is working as a PostDoc researcher at the VU Medical Center (since January 2014) and is developing and implementing a lifestyle program to improve cardiovascular health for employees of the Banco de Santander Headquarter in Madrid Spain together with CNIC Madrid. For this Spanish project, she is travelling back and forth between Madrid and Amsterdam.
